We’re proud to say that we have a lot of very inspiring employees. We recently profiled some of our impressive CNAs in honor of Employee Appreciation Day, and we are sharing their stories to give you a taste of who works at Towne.

Pierre Fleuriot is a CNA from NJ. We asked him what inspired him to become a CNA and he told us about immigrating to a new country and looking for a new career. “Ever since I was a kid, I liked to help people, but when I came here from Haiti, I had the opportunity to take a CNA course and see how it went. I have been a CNA for 5 years now and enjoy every second, especially helping someone else and making them feel happy. If I have the opportunity, I will go to nursing school to become an LPN.”

Lenore Boddy of East NY, a CNA for the past four years, says her mother’s health condition instilled the desire to care for others. “When I was 13 or 14, my mother got ill and I had to leave school to take care of her. I enjoy being a CNA because I like to take care of people.”

Ludy Charles from Woodrigde, NJ has always wanted to make nursing a career. “Even as a kid, I always said, “I want to become a nurse!!” Starting at age 12, I took care of my friends and my mother. I love taking care of patients, especially when they get sick and I can help them and talk to them.”

We know that each and every Towne CNA has an interesting story and we would love to hear yours. Comment below to let us know what motivated you to become a CNA and what makes you excited to go to work every day.
